Sarah Wulf

Sarah is originally from Germany and has also lived in the US and Spain. She studied International Business with a focus on Languages and Human Resources, moving to Sydney in 2015.

Movement and exercise have always played an important role for Sarah and even more so now to counterbalance her full-time job in HR.

Whilst Yoga was initially a way to exercise and move for Sarah, it has become so much more than that and is now an integral part of her life. With a background in dancing, Yoga was the perfect match and is certainly more sustainable over the long run. It has taught her how important it is to listen to one's body, let go of expectations and adjust the practice every time you step onto the mat. Yoga can also be a valuable support if you’re working through injury.

All of this led Sarah to complete her 200-hours Yoga Teacher Training in 2021 and a further 25-hours Vinyasa Training in 2022. This inspired her even more to integrate Yoga into all aspects of her life, on and off the mat.

Sarah’s classes are accessible for everyone, from complete beginners to seasoned Yogis. She believes Yoga is a personal journey and a constant practice, not a competition. Sarah’s classes weave together breath work (pranayama), mindfulness and physical yoga postures (asana) to create a well-rounded practice for body, mind and soul. Against all common beliefs, Yoga is not just about flexibility and you don’t have to be able to touch your toes to join her classes. On the contrary, in our classes she will focus on strength, beyond working on flexibility and you might even break a sweat. She encourages you to listen to your own body. In the end it’s all about that body and mind connection. You are your best teacher and she emphasises that she is simply here as a guide who offers suggestions. If a pose doesn't work for you, modify it, skip it, take a different one. This is your body and your practice! Above all, Yoga is fun and playful, so why not give it a try and join us!

Sarah loves travelling and the outdoors as well as languages. She is currently working on improving her Italian.

Originally from Germany, Sarah has lived in the US and Spain before making Sydney her home in 2015. She brings a rich background in International Business, focusing on Languages and Human Resources, to her life in Australia. Balancing a full-time career in HR, Sarah finds movement and exercise essential for her well-being, with yoga playing a central role.

What began as a way to stay active has evolved into a profound journey for Sarah, who discovered that yoga offers much more than physical exercise. With a background in dance, she found yoga to be the perfect match—sustainable and adaptable for the long term. The practice has taught her the importance of listening to her body, letting go of expectations, and adapting each session to the present moment. She understands the value of yoga in supporting recovery, especially for those working through injuries.

Sarah completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2021 and furthered her education with a 25-hour Vinyasa training in 2022. Inspired to integrate yoga into every aspect of her life, she brings a holistic approach to her teaching, both on and off the mat.

Sarah’s Classes: Accessible and Empowering

Sarah welcomes everyone to her classes, from complete beginners to seasoned yogis. She believes yoga is a personal and continuous journey, not a competition. Her sessions incorporate breathwork (pranayama), mindfulness, and physical postures (asana), creating a well-rounded practice that nurtures body, mind, and soul. Contrary to common beliefs, yoga isn't just about flexibility—you don’t need to touch your toes to participate! Sarah emphasizes strength and body awareness, ensuring that you’ll feel challenged and might even break a sweat.

Her teaching philosophy encourages you to tune into your own body. She views herself as a guide, offering suggestions while empowering you to modify, skip, or change poses based on what feels right for you. It’s your body, your practice, and your journey. Most importantly, Sarah believes yoga should be fun and playful, providing a space to explore and grow.
